Abstract
Portal Knowledge is a high level system of knowledge management, promoting asynthesis of widely dispersed knowledge resourcesand individual connections in order to provide a “Gateway to knowledge”.The purpose of the paper isclarifying the importance of buildingthe knowledge portal for university libraries in Vietnam. Analyzing the survey results of 198 websites of university libraries in Vietnam in 2015. Proposing open source solutions for designing knowledge portal for the university libraries in Vietnam.
